The goal behind the RSX circuit spec/time attacker race-car is to create a monster circuit racing machine aimed at being the fastest front engine front wheel drive RSX time attacker in America. The goal is also to showcase the performance, style, integrity, and quality of the products of the different race team partners. The car is to be driven primarily by Andy Hope in various Time Attack Events (while RJ may take the wheel a couple of times in the year). The vehicle was also built to act as a real world testing environment for products developed by the teams technology partners. This Time Attack machine features a paint scheme that pays tribute to Honda’s greatest racing driver Aryton Senna in the hopes of educating today’s modern day tuner enthusiasts about Honda’s rich racing history and success. In November 2008 at the Source Interlink Super Lap Battle held at Buttonwillow Raceway the MotorworldHype.com / Mishimoto RSX was able to clock in a time of 1.570 to giving them a 3rd place finish in Unlimited FF and also the title of fastest time attacking RSX in the US.
