Project Build Owner of this smooth midnight black pearl WRX, Dean Scardino has been into cars since he was a child. As he grew older he went through phases about what one day he would be able to build. His first experience with tuner cars was at age 14, when a 1996 Honda Civic with a body kit flew past him, from that point on he was hooked for life.
Dean bought his 2003 WRX with 18,000 miles, it came with bov, 5% tint all around, and a few factory features including a short shifter and a boost gauge. His original plan was to put some rims on it and install a nice stereo system. This plan lasted only a few months when he purchased an intake and full tbe. Soon he started spending every paycheck on new parts. He did all the work himself excluding the body, fmic install and uppipe. Dean’s main goal in modifying his WRX was to express himself as much as possible. Even though this car already has plenty of modifications, Dean feels he will never actually be finished with the build. He hopes to one day have every part upgraded from the suspension to the interior. For now his plans include powder coating parts in his engine, a bigger turbo setup, new paintjob, wheels, and a body kit.
