HIN Raceway Park Englishtown, NJ

Looming clouds and a forecast of rain had spectators wondering if they were going to stay dry during the 6th round of the 2009 Hot Import Nights tour in Englishtown, New Jersey. Although rain was a definite prospect, it did not seem to hinder the crowds, who were lined up well before the show was going to start. Luckily for the thousands who attended the rain held off.

Mishimoto was out in full force, represented everywhere from the wild JDM rides of Team Emotion to Formula D drivers, Matt Waldin and Chris Forsberg. Waldin and Forsberg, along with the rest of the Formula D ProAm drivers put on two spectacular drift demos, tearing apart Englishtown's parking lot just like they did back in the days before they were pro. The Black Ops 350Z built by Nic Ashby was turning plenty of heads in the National Guard booth, especially with it's rear-mounted 66mm turbo setup capable of over 600hp.

Another Nissan running close to 600HP was Mishimoto’s own S13, which was on display in the NOS Energy Drink booth where model Corissa Furr, the feature model for Mishimoto’s May desktop calendar, was pouring free samples of NOS for the show goers to enjoy. If the cars and models weren't enough to grab the attention of the crowds, the BMX and Motocross displays and the artists on the HIN stage kept the vibe up and gave everyone a show to remember.
