It was a busy weekend for Jorge Ferrin and his 2003 Subaru STI. A photoshoot by Performance Auto and Sound magazine started the weekend off early Saturday morning. At noon,he headed over to the Extreme Dimensions Open House Car Show, where he was awarded Best of Show. This past Saturday August 23, 2008, a gang of Team Origin USA/Touge Factory modified cars represented Mishimoto Automotive. These highly modified cars participated in an 8-hour drift demo. Congratulations to the team at Casper Canul Racing for taking the podium at the first Formula D Team Drift Competition in Long Beach, California. Casper raced this event in his 1996 Nissan S14 built with a Mishimoto aluminum radiator, Mishimoto transmission cooler, and Mishimoto cooling fans. He joined team CST for this event with Sammuel Hubinette (Mopar Viper) and Conrad Grunewald (Tanaka Racing Corvette) and took third place overall.
