The 6.4L Powerstroke's cooling system has more than one weak point. Bad thermostats, worn-out hoses, an underperforming reservoir cap, and a front end that flexes too much all add up to overheating and coolant loss. The aluminum radiator replaces the factory plastic-tank unit with a fully brazed core and TIG-welded aluminum end tanks. Internal struts keep the tubes strong under pressure, and co-molded mounting pegs isolate the radiator from frame flex. High-temp and low-temp thermostats let you dial in when the cooling system opens up based on your climate and how you use the truck. Five-layer silicone coolant hoses come pre-assembled with CNC-machined couplers and stainless clips, replacing every factory rubber hose in the system. The 1.1 bar reservoir cap raises the boiling point of your coolant so you have more headroom under hard use. Noise, vibration, and harshness, NVH for short, are the three things standing between a truck that feels planted and one that beats you up on every drive. It's easy to think of a truck as pure transportation: a way to earn a living or get where you're going. But your cabin is your sanctuary space, and automakers have spent 100-plus years and untold R&D dollars trying to keep it smooth, quiet, and compliant.
