The 6.7L Powerstroke works hard, and the factory cooling and charge air systems don't have much room to spare. Coolant temps rise under a long tow, charge air temps climb when the secondary radiator can't keep up, and the stock intercooler holds back both power and reliability. The Mishimoto Heavy-Duty Backbone Protection Bundle replaces the whole thermal management system and reinforces the structure it runs on, starting with the body mounts.

The primary radiator adds 37% more coolant capacity with a 10% thicker core, extruded tubes, and internal struts. The secondary radiator's 19% thicker core boosts cooling surface area by 27% and pulls charge air cooler temps down by up to 6 degrees F under load. Both come with cast aluminum thermostat housings. The air-to-water intercooler and pipe kit replaces the stock unit with cast end tanks, a bar-and-plate core, and mandrel-bent pipes that increase flow by 22%, good for a dyno-proven 40 lb-ft torque gain with no other changes needed. Silicone coolant hoses with embedded fibers and CNC quick-disconnect fittings replace the factory rubber throughout the system. The upper support bar locks down the front end with cast-steel anchor points and tube steel construction to cut the flex that stresses every cooling part on the truck.

The silicone body mounts take care of the structure below the cab. Factory rubber mounts crack over time and let vibration travel straight into the radiator, hoses, and cooling stack. The Mishimoto eight-bushing silicone set stops that, restores cab alignment and ride height, and soaks up NVH before it gets to the hardware above. Dual-coated steel cups, Dacromet hardware, and a captured-nut design keep the job simple and the result solid.
