Florida was abuzz with excitement June 4th and 5th as Formula Drift held its Round 3 at Palm Beach International Raceway. This was Chris Forsberg's first time at PBIR, so he had no idea what to expect. Practice rounds were a little daunting for everyone as drivers kept careening into walls due to the high speeds and track configuration, but Formula D quickly caught on and reconfigured the track to be safer. Let's save the crashing for the battles, boys!
On Saturday, Forsberg slid through the qualifying round, making him the number one contender for the podium with a score of 93.3! He ripped through the competition on Sunday, making it to the semi finals to battle both friend and foe for a spot at in the top 3. Unfortunately, Forsberg was unable to close the win and finished Round 3 with 4th place overall.
Chris Forsberg will be at Round 4: The Gauntlet in Wall, New Jersey June 17th and 18th. See you there, Chris!
