Formula Drift Round 1: Streets of Long Beach

Formula DRIFT returned to the Long Beach Grand Prix Street Course April 9th and 10th to launch the seventh season of the professional drifting championship. Round 1: Streets of Long Beach took place over Friday and Saturday, with the first ever live stream broadcasting of all the track activities online and via smart phone applications.
Rhys Millen, who uses the Mishimoto M Line Intercooler in his Hyundai Genesis Coupe, took home the silver trophy after the final round on Saturday. Mishimoto sponsored drivers Patrick Mordaunt and Chris Forsberg finished with top ten standings on Saturday.
The next stop on the series will be in Atlanta May 7th-8th for Round 2: Road to the Championship at Road Atlanta. Road Atlanta is the home of the inaugural Formula DRIFT event that took place back in 2004.
