At the core of the induction side is the Performance Intercooler, engineered to fit in the stock location while delivering the largest effective core size, a 60% increase in core volume over the factory unit. Oversized 63mm inlet and outlet diameters improve charge air movement, and a diverter plate in the hot-side end tank promotes even airflow across the core for better cooling. Gains of up to 12 horsepower and 11 ft-lbs of torque are achievable without a tune. Foam sealing strips ensure airflow through the rest of the cooling stack as Mishimoto's intercooler mounts directly to the subframe via four rubber mounts for vibration isolation and rigidity. A pre-drilled and tapped NPT port supports auxiliary sensors for datalogging or water methanol injection.

Rounding out the bundle is the Baffled Oil Catch Can, the last line of defense against blow-by. With 10.6:1 compression and 18 pounds of boost on tap, blow-by is an inevitable byproduct of the EcoBoost's design. Left unaddressed, oil particles carried through the PCV system back into the intake, where they coat your intake passageways, valves, and reduce the effective octane rating of your air-fuel mixture. That octane reduction raises the risk of knock and preignition, which can cause catastrophic engine damage in a single pull. The catch can intercepts those particles before they ever reach the intake, keeping everything clean. A lifetime bronze sintered filter and fully serviceable internals mean you'll never need to replace filter media, just clean and reuse. OEM-quality quick-disconnect fittings make installation clean and leak-free, and the 3mm-thick bracket mounts the can away from engine movement and vibration for reliable, long-term performance. It is compatible with both OEM and Mishimoto strut bars.
