Building a Wrangler for the trail means running a wheel-and-tire setup the factory never planned for - wider tires, aftermarket wheels with different backspacing, and the suspension articulation that comes with a lift. Without the right offset, those tires rub control arms, brake calipers, and steering knuckles. Mishimoto Wheel Spacers add the outward offset that puts the wheel where the build needs it, without the failure modes that cheap cast spacers bring to a trail rig.
Forged 6061-T6 aluminum construction resists the impact, side-loading, and flex cycling that crack cast spacers under rock crawling and washboard trails. A hub-centric 71.6mm centering bore mates to the factory hub so wheel load transfers through the hub instead of riding on the studs - the same way the factory designed it, eliminating the vibration and wheel walk that lug-centric spacers introduce. Grade-12.9 steel studs and lug nuts in 1/2-20 thread exceed OEM stud strength, adding clearance without trading away clamping force. A durable anodized finish seals against the mud, salt, and standing-water intrusion that pit and seize unsealed aluminum after a season of overland use.
