Tired of removing the bottom half of your Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can in order to drain the accumulated blow-by? The engineers at Mishimoto have answered with the Baffled Oil Catch Can Petcock Drain Kit. The 6061 aluminum CNC-machined barbed outlet was carefully designed with multiple through holes to allow you to retain the internal baffle, important to the functionality of your catch can. The 6’ of black rubber hose allows you to easily splice the black nylon ball valve into the hose wherever works best for you! The included 3/8” to 3/8” hose barb black nylon ball valve, which makes draining the can a breeze, and three worm-gear clamps make installing this petcock drain plug a breeze. As with all our products, this kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Our catch cans are different from most air-oil-separator (AOS) systems on a few levels. First, our catch cans are not heated. This means that all of the blow-by is able to condense in the can, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. Most AOS systems also drain the blow-by back into the oil pan, while our catch cans trap the blow-by and keep it out of the engine permanently. If you’ve seen what we’ve seen in the bottom of our catch cans, you won’t want that draining back into your oil either.

Install Torque Specs 22 in-lbs (2.5N*M) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs 2-3N*M. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3N*M).

Note It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. will this fit on the MMOCC-RB ? or what do I need for that catch can?

Good question, thanks for asking. Unfortunately, the MMBCC-DRAIN-01 will not fit the MMOCC-RB, as this kit was designed for the MMBCC-UNI. Additionally, we do not currently offer a petcock drain kit for the MMOCC-RB. We apologize for the inconvenience. However, the MMOCC-RB comes with a magnetic drain plug included in the kit.
