The factory hot-side pipe for the 2011+ Duramax features numerous restrictive bends and chokes the engine with 2.5in piping. The 3in diameter of the Mishimoto intercooler pipe provides a significant increase in airflow that results in more power and lower EGTs. The Mishimoto hot-side intercooler pipe and boot kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade and features mandrel bent aluminium with a polished finish. For ease of install, Mishimoto designed this kit as a two piece design, similar to the factory pipe. Mishimoto intercooler piping kits feature our silicone boots with DuraCore technology.
