Product Description
Mishimoto engineers started with a large 19-row oil cooler and mounted it in the front of the vehicle where it receives the most airflow. The oil cooler was designed to bypass the stock liquid to liquid oil cooler in order to get the best possible oil temperature reduction. A new CNC center bolt and aluminum coolant bypass tube are provided to easily eliminate the stock oil cooler unit. Application-specific braided stainless steel lines transfer oil from the cooler to the engine and feature -10AN fittings for an easy installation. Mishimoto engineers saw consistent temperature decreases of over 35°F (19.5°C) using our non-thermostatic sandwich plate. Proving that this oil cooler kit can withstand the stresses of the most extreme applications.
This oil cooler kit is available with either a Stealth Black or Sleek Silver cooler and your choice of the Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate or the Mishimoto Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate. As with all our products, this kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.Please note: Mishimoto fully inspects and cleans all products prior to packaging. However, it is recommended that customers flush the oil cooler with one quart of clean oil prior to installation to remove any debris accumulated during shipping. Testing time! It's always fun to see the results when you make changes to your vehicle, whether bolting on a new wheel and tire combo, or installing a new set of dampers. In this case, we are expecting our Fiesta ST oil cooler setup to drop fluid temperatures by a substantial margin during our on-road testing.
Testing Setup and Conditions
Testing the stock Fiesta ST oil cooler is relatively simple. Only one temperature and pressure will need to be monitored, so we can utilize our sandwich plate sensor adapter shown below.

We've been posting on the Fiesta ST forums for some time now, talking about our upcoming products (Fiesta ST aluminum radiator and Fiesta ST oil catch can system), reading through build threads, and requesting recommendations from the community. One of the most requested components is a direct-fit Fiesta oil cooler solution. Luckily for ST enthusiasts, we are extremely familiar with this product, as validated by the 21 direct-fit kits our engineering team has designed and tested thus far.

So what do we have planned for our Fiesta ST oil cooler kit? We had a few requests for a radiator/oil cooler combination kit with bracket mounts fixed to the radiator. While this is a good idea, it has a few flaws. First, the AC condenser sits directly in
