Product Description
The kit comes with two direct-fit hoses and preassembled quick-disconnect fittings for easy installation. It also includes a direct-fit mounting bracket that not only is extremely easy to install, but also mounts the can in a serviceable location in your EcoBoost Mustang's engine bay for easy draining. Two CNC-machined aluminum fittings connect the hoses to the can for reliable, leak-free performance. Like all Mishimoto EcoBoost Mustang parts, this 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost baffled oil catch can kit is backed by our Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
Our catch cans are different from most air-oil-separator (AOS) systems on a few levels. First, our catch cans are not heated. This means that all the blow-by condenses in the can, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. Most AOS systems also drain the blow-by back into the oil pan, while our catch cans trap the blow-by and keep it out of the engine permanently. If you've seen what we've seen in the bottom of our catch cans, you won't want that draining back into your oil either.

When we left you last time, we had equipped our Mustang up with our prototype dual-can setup, and we sent the vehicle out for some road use. Since we would be testing other components (intake and intercooler) at the same time, dyno pulls would also be conducted with this setup installed.

Does it need a catch can?
This question is on the minds of many vehicle enthusiasts. If it doesn't add power, why would I want it? Why should I waste my money on it? All valid questions here.
