Mishimoto's 2016+ Titan XD catch can kit features Mishimoto's oversize Baffled Oil Catch Can with several internal baffles to better separate oil from the crankcase vapors. Strategic positioning in the engine bay prevents condensation buildup in the catch can from freezing in cold climates. Two direct-fit hoses and an application-specific bracket make for a quick and simple installation. 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in- 2-3NM. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).

Vehicles affected by Nissan service campaign #PC511 may require an ECU tune to use this catch can kit without a check engine light. The ECU re-flash performed under this campaign increases the sensitivity of the CCV pressure sensor and may lead the ECU to believe that a CCV hose is unplugged when using this kit. Please contact your dealer to verify if your vehicle has been re-flashed under this campaign.
After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the contents of the baffled catch can every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Oil blow-by accumulation will vary with ambient temperatures and driving conditions. It is important that the contents of the can do not rise above the internal baffle
