Now that we've closed out 2024 and started a new year, we’ve looked back at what our automotive cooling and performance auto parts team has created and the growth of our company. We are also looking into our crystal ball of what is ahead in 2025 for our new innovative product roster.
What We've Accomplished
Moved to Pennsylvania!
Mishimoto was founded in 2005 in Delaware and has served as an excellent home for the last two decades. However, we’re always looking to push the limits here at Mishimoto, so in April of 2024 we decided to move next door to Garnett Valley, Pennsylvania, allowing us to expand our footprint to a 68,000-square-foot building to provide larger space to develop new and exciting performance parts. This move also allows for expanded contributors, bringing in more engineers, project managers, and marketers! Are you local to the area and interested in joining the team? Check out our careers page.
Launched Borne Off-Road
In October 2024, Mishimoto launched its sister brand, Borne Off-Road. Borne offers the same quality engineered products as Mishimoto but for those passionate about exploring off the beaten path. In its infancy, Borne brought to market some great products from recovery gear such as the 10K and 12K winches, kinetic rope, and new lighting offerings ranging from light bars, pod lights, and direct-fit lighting for the Ford Bronco. But we don’t simply sell products at Mishimoto or Borne; we live our products, which is why our company went to Coal Township, Pennsylvania, to attend an Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area training; essentially, we engaged in some off-road fun and hit the trails, driving through mud, water and some challenging trails to put our products to the test.
New Highly-Engineered Products
In 2024, we launched over 350 new products, from intercoolers, radiators, catch cans, and skid plates to winches, off-road lighting, and a lot more. Eight new patents were awarded to Mishimoto, covering over 300 products in our catalog. In addition, here are some of our favorite products we launched this past year.
This high-performance radiator is a direct fit for the 2003-2010 Porsche Cayenne. It is designed for superior cooling and features a larger core size, louvered fins, and increased fluid capacity. Robust construction with strutted tubes and a curved header plate ensures long-lasting durability. The radiator also incorporates features like CNC-machined inlets/outlets, expansion joints, and a billet aluminum fan shroud locking mechanism for easy installation and optimal performance. With no modifications, this radiator offers a significant upgrade over the stock unit for demanding driving conditions.
This is the transmission cooler for the 2020-2022 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. This powerful truck is designed for heavy towing, but the stock transmission cooler struggles to maintain optimal fluid temperature under demanding conditions.
The Mishimoto engineers identified limitations with the stock liquid-to-liquid cooler, which relies on engine coolant to regulate transmission fluid temperature. They opted for a larger air-to-fluid design with a significantly increased core size and surface area. This allows for more efficient heat dissipation and improved cooling performance, especially for vehicles towing or driving in hot climates.

What's Ahead
In 2025, we at Mishimoto plan to continue Pushing the Limits—we’re acquiring new vehicles for R&D and planning hundreds of new products we know aren’t simply replacements but parts that will enhance your ride and help you fall even more in love with it.
Product Sneak Peak
If you follow us on social media, you’ll notice that we previewed our new Honda Civic Type-R. We’re excited to share more about it in the future, but for those looking into ways to enhance their current ride, sit tight—new cooling and performance parts are coming soon!
Borne Off-Road enthusiasts also continues to push new and innovative products. Looking ahead, Borne Off-Road will be focusing on expanding its range of direct-fit lighting, including applications for the latest generation Toyota Tacoma and modular bumper lights for the Ford Bronco. Also on the horizon are precision-engineered busbars to streamline the installation process of lighting setups and offer a more controlled user experience.
